WU YISHU

Stammy is a visual artist who was born in China. A descendent of two accomplished and widely recognized artists, she naturally fell into visual things. She is particularly known for her innovative uses of color and for her edgy creating of an ever-evolving, ever-unique aesthetic.

Stammy is based in Shanghai, where she works as a fashion photographer and art director.

In 2014, Stammy was featured in Vogue as “young talented photographer” for the year. Her first one-person exhibition was in 2015. The show, Addicted to Skin, provided the starting place for this collection.

In 2018, Stammy’s photographs twice graced the cover of Vogue. She was particularly singled out as Shanghai’s rising star in their Fashion Week Edition.

In advertising work, Stammy has collaborated with international brands such as Adidas, Converse, IT, b+ab, Etam, Me & City, Alibaba and numerous others.
