ALEXANDER PFEUFFER

Alexander Pfeuffer has written extensively for stage and screen, in both Berlin and Los Angeles. He has authored numerous radio dramas and stage plays, including “Vermisst,” for Theaterhaus Jena. The play, which dramatizes an escalating conflict between a missing man’s wife and his mistress, was selected for production as part of Mexico City’s Dramafest. Alex’s screenplays include “Love in Thoughts,” which was awarded the European Film Award.

Alex currently lives in Berlin, where his recent work as a director could be seen in “The Bereaved” (Max-Ophüls-Preis Festival 2010). Current TV affiliations include writing for German networks, ARD and ZDF.

Since 2012 Alex has served as Chair of WELTFILME.org – a NGO that initiates and supports film-projects in developing countries.
